We are actively seeking professionals to contribute to a diverse product range, streamlining intricate infrastructure projects. This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with market-leading brands, delivering intelligent, secure, and sustainable solutions across diverse construction sectors.

 

Based in Geldermalsen, the Manufacturing Engineer will lead ERP implementation in the Netherlands and Germany, then transition to identifying and executing performance improvement projects. The role aims to enhance customer service, minimize manufacturing costs, and reduce lead times. This offers an opportunity to work at the site level and collaborate with a broader Engineering team across Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage ERP manufacturing data, processes, and system maintenance.
  • Implement advanced manufacturing processes, including robotics and automation.
  • Oversee ERP data implementation for Geldermalsen and associated sites
  • Lead business improvement projects and installations.
  • Conduct time studies and implement process improvements for efficient planning and manufacturing.
  • Optimize EP master data for accurate manufacturing process reflection.
  • Generate business improvement ideas and champion Lean Principles.
  • Utilize project management tools, Gantt charts, and manage contractors.
  • Prepare and submit CX (Change Control) and manage the process.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and install automation solutions.
  • Provide technical support for project and NPI implementations.

 

Associated Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering activities as needed.
  • Provide instructions and materials for new or modified processes.
  • Troubleshoot ERP system and production processes.
  • Contribute to other projects and initiatives as appropriate.

 

Essential skills and competencies:

 

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Technical proficiency, adept at managing complexity, effective communication, and collaborative work.
  • Experience using ERP systems and Project Management.
  • High-level IT skills, including proficiency in the full MS Office suite, Adobe Pro, and Advanced Excel, and familiarity with digital communication tools
  • Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Education in an engineering discipline, with a preference for Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English; proficiency in German would be advantageous.
