Executive Business Partner / Assistant

Impel Talent is recruiting a high-calibre Executive Business Partner / Senior EA to support the Managing Director of a confidential, globally-focused executive search and leadership advisory firm. This organisation partners with life sciences and healthcare companies at critical inflection points, providing executive search, leadership advisory, and talent solutions. Operating internationally, they advise senior executives and boards on strategic talent decisions that drive business growth.

In this role, you will not only support the Managing Director but also play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the company’s operations for its UK subsidiary. You will interact daily with senior executives, external stakeholders, and international teams, providing high-level executive support, operational oversight, and strategic coordination. Executive presence, discretion, and confidence in high-profile meetings are essential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, prioritisation, and scheduling.

  • Attend and support high-profile meetings with senior executives, taking accurate notes and ensuring follow-up on action items.

  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for leadership and board-level meetings.

  • Act as a trusted representative for the Managing Director and the UK subsidiary, liaising with senior stakeholders and external partners.

  • Oversee and support operational processes for the UK subsidiary, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning across administrative, logistical, and project-related activities.

  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements and logistics.

  • Manage correspondence, emails, and communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.

  • Support special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and ad hoc tasks requiring operational insight.

  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times with sensitive information.
