Kristel de Brouwer has a background as a Regulatory Affairs Manager in the global pharmaceutical industry. In this role, both high level strategy and attention to detail were essential. Over a total of six years, she managed two different teams. She has also worked with colleagues from many nationalities and cultures, including Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Turkey, India, the United States, Japan, and Hong Kong.
She comes from a scientific background, which supports rational thinking and an analytical approach to understanding information, identifying what is important, and asking the right questions to reach the core of an issue. In coaching, she uses this background and her skills to help clients understand themselves and reflect on what she hears in order to guide them toward deeper insight.
Her development over time shows a shift from a strong rational focus to more refined soft skills and a deeper understanding of herself. This includes growth as a manager and greater awareness of how to lead a team from her heart and core.
